Learn how to get the most out of the Foreplay Chrome Extension to save ads and analyze your competitors.

📱The chrome extension is for desktop saving. Learn how to save ads from your mobile device using this guide.

Downloading the Chrome Extension

  1. Ensure you have an active Foreplay Subscription or Free Trial.

  2. Download the Extension

  3. Pin it to your Chrome Tab

  4. Ensure you have all ad blockers turned off on the sites you want to save from.

Using the Chrome Extension

The chrome extension will inject a save button directly in your web browser on multiple platforms allowing you to save ads to ✅ Folders & Boards .

  1. Click the Dropdown Arrow

  2. Search & Select a Board (If you click save without selecting a board it will still save to your Swipe File uncategorized)

  3. Exit the Dropdown

  4. Click Save


ℹ️ When a board is selected it is NOT saved. Ensure that after selecting a board you click the button. Once the button turns green it is saved to your dashboard forever.

Create Boards & Folders

You can create a new board or folder directly from the save button without returning to your Foreplay Dashboard. To do this;

  1. Click the Dropdown Arrow

  2. Click “New”

  3. Click “New Board” or “New Folder”

  4. Type board or folder name

  5. Click the checkmark

Bulk Saving to a Default Board

When you are doing creative research you are often saving in bulk to a single board. You can automatically apply a board to all save buttons for faster saving.

  1. Open the Chrome Extension modal by clicking the floating Foreplay icon

  2. Click “Board Settings”

  3. Select a Default Folder

  4. Click “Apply”

ℹ️ This does NOT save every ad on the page. You still need to click the button on ads you want to save to your Swipe File.

Troubleshooting Checklist

If you are having issues with ads saving with the Chrome Extension try the following before reaching out to support

  1. Ensure you are logged into Foreplay

  2. Ensure Ad blocker is turned off

  3. Press Cmd+Shift+R to reset the extension
